FijiFirst is the only party that has eased my financial burden, says Ilisapeci Seniuci.

The 57-year-old of Waikete Village in Tailevu was among the hundreds who gathered at the village hall on Thursday with FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama.

“This government has helped me a lot in so many ways especially with my children’s education,” she said.

“I have seven children and I was struggling before trying to pay for their school fees until this government introduced free education.

“I have now gained so much weight because my loads are lighter than before.

“There is no doubt, I still want this government to lead us again.”

Mrs Seniuci is a farmer in Tailevu.

Her husband is a diabetic patient and a social welfare recipient.

First time voter Qalo Takayawa said she was looking forward to November 14.

“It will be my first time voting and I am so excited about it,” she said.

“What else can we ask for? This government has really looked after us well, especially making sure that families are happy.”

The 25-year-old is married with three children with the eldest in Year 2.

Maa’ta Kalokaloniceva, 35, said all these years she has been voting only for the sake of voting.

“Today, after the Prime Minister cleared the air on what has been going on in the country, now I know the importance of choosing the right person to lead us forward.”

Mr Bainimarama reminded the people of Tailevu to ensure that they were voting for the right person and not be deceived by what political parties were preaching.
