Our North Editor, Shratika Naidu, has completed an intensive three-week young leaders training programme in China.
Ms Naidu was part of a 38-member delegation from Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Vanuatu and Federated States of Micronesia, selected in the 2018 Programme for Young Leaders from Pacific Island Countries.
It was run by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Government.
She was the only journalist to be selected for the programme from Fiji.
Ms Naidu is a graduate of one of India’s premier universities, (Savitribai Phule Pune University).
She has also completed a post-graduate diploma at the University of the South Pacific.
