Tick for Stability, PM Tells Campaign Crowd

You must tick for a party which brings stability in the country, says the leader of FijiFirst party Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.
Speaking at the launch of the Party’s manifesto at Nukuloa College in Ba, Mr Bainimarama was welcomed by thousands who filled up rooms at the college.
“Come 14 of November, you tick for a party which will stand by you, tick for a party which will be with you when you are down and out, tick for a party which will bring you stability,” he said.
Mr Bainimarama reminded the people of SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka’s track record and the uncertainly and instability he brought to Fiji.
He said the 2013 Constitution brought equality and stability in the land.
“You don’t need to be frightened of anyone, but watch out for Rabuka and his cronies which tore us apart in 1987 and 2000. As the A-G reminded most of you, how most of you experienced hell because of the events of 1987 and 2000 and his (Rabuka’s) candidates talk about the same policies. Vote for a party which will stand by you and Biman Prasad and his group will not stand by you.
“When in Parliament the communities are attacked, Biman Prasad does not say anything in defence. This group has tried to unsettle the FijiFirst. Biman and Rabuka are one and the same and if you vote for Biman, you are voting for Rabuka.
“Think about your family, about your nation, think about your infrastructure but think about everything that has happened over the past four years specially and, on that note, I urge you to vote for FijiFirst.”
