Members of the disciplined forces yesterday morning honoured the brave efforts of servicepeople who lost their lives in the line of duty with a dawn service at the Suva military cemetery.

In what is tradition worldwide for the disciplined services, the early morning drizzle did not deter officers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Corrections, RFMF Naval Division and Police as they marked Remembrance Day 2018.

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Defence Osea Cawaru led the service and wreath laying with RFMF Commander  Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto and fellow commissioned officers.

Members of the  Fijian Ex-Servicemen, relatives and military attaches from diplomatic missions joined the observance.
