Totogo Murder: Two Police Officers Charged with Murder

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Mr Christopher Pryde, has sanctioned charges against two police officers for allegedly murdering Josua Lalauvaki following an altercation outside a Suva nightclub on 2nd September 2018.

Mr Lalauvaki died at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital on 11th October 2018 as a result of injuries allegedly sustained by him as a result of police assaults.

Police Officers Kelepi Duri Tautaumacala Kolinisau and Selema Tikoenaburevere were today charged with murder and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (16.11.18).
