Jone Totokavanua thanked Fijian Elections Officials for helping him and other disabled persons cast their vote in the 2018 General Election.

He was not able to go into the polling station because of an amputated leg, however Mr Totokavanua was a happy man after he cast his vote from inside a taxi yesterday.

This was in front of the Suva Society for the Intellectual Disabled polling venue at Namadi Heights.

The 67-year-old thanked the FEO for thinking of those with disabilities.

“I was not able to go and vote like everyone else at the polling station because one of my leg is amputated. I am really happy that I was able to cast my vote and made my vote count” Mr Totokavanua said.

“I was impressed that the staff came and made sure that I cast my vote,  which shows that they know what they are doing.

Mr Totokavanua said he believed he voted for the right party.
