It’s Member Forum Time

The annual Fiji National Provident Fund member forum will be held over a two week period beginning in Labasa on November 24.

The yearly event always provides members, pensioners and employers an opportunity to and out more about the Fund’s financial and operational achievements for the previous financial year.

Chief executive officer Jaoji Koroi said it was a good time for the Fund’s key stakeholders to ask questions and also and out about the Fund’s future plans. The forum will be held at five locations in the country’s main centres in the Central, Western and Northern divisions.

“Members and pensioners often raise issues of concern at the Forums – most of which are addressed or resolved there,” said Mr Koroi.

“There are other concerns which our team then addresses – an example
is the pension cards which now contain pensioners’ numbers as well as their FNPF numbers. That was one of the requests raised by pensioners and we have issued new cards to them and these have been well received.

“These sorts of concerns are raised at the Member Forum and we invite our members, pensioners and employers to attend.”

“It’s a good opportunity for them to highlight their concerns directly with us or even suggest ways we can add value to our services.” Details of the Forum dates, venues and time will be advertised soon.
