Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya has released who from their side will sit on various committees in Parliament.

However, the list is subject to change after the Speaker of Parliament Dr Jiko Luveni indicated at the closing of Parliament yesterday that the Business Committee has agreed to increase the membership of the Standing Committees from five to seven.

National Federation Party leader Biman Prasad said that the decision of who sits on the Committees rests with the Opposition Leader.

He had not been named in the earlier tentative list released by Ms Tabuya but that may change after the membership numbers have been increased.

Government whip Alvick Maharaj has indicated that the Government list will be released today.
