Tyson reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion and held the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title at 20 years, four months and 22 days old.

 

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has arrived in London for the 27th International Sugar Organisation Seminar (ISO).

Yesterday, he confirmed that he had met  former world undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson while in Los Angeles on his way to London.

At L.A. International Airport transit lounge Bainimarama also spoke with Tyson briefly.

Fondly known as ‘Iron Mike’ he was also waiting for his flight and had photos taken with the PM.

He competed as a professional boxer from 1985 to 2005. Tyson reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion and held the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title at 20 years, four months and 22 days old.
