Parents were in awe on Thursday after seeing their respective children graduating from the Dayspring Christian Primary School and Dayspring Christian College.

The ceremony at the Wesley City Mission Church at the corner of Butt St and Gordon St, attended by families and friends, saw 34 students graduate.

Adriana Thaggard Bossley said she was pleased to see her children – Malia Bossley, 9, and Tarei Bossley, 7 – graduating.

“Really proud to see the accomplishment of the students being recognised today and these achievements are a testament to the hard work and guidance of the teachers at the Dayspring Christian School,” she said.

“We love the fact that the learning is done is such a holistic manner, where students also learn about creative arts and the importance of their faith, embedding a core set of values to guide their personal development.”

Shiri Ram, a father to four children attending the school, said it was always a joy to see the achievements of your children at the end of the year.

His children are Akash Ram Nath, 14, Meena Ram Nath, 12, Avaani Ram Nath, 11, and Raani Ram Nath, 7.

He urged other students in the country to focus on their school work and study hard.

“There is a time for everything, but make sure that you focus on the test at hand,” said Mr Ram.
