Friday provided another momentous achievement for the Fiji Police Force with the Police Commissioner opening the Police Post at the new Flagstaff Plaza.

Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho said it took a lot of effort and working together to get to where they were today.

“The Fiji Police Post is there to serve the people of Fiji and all visitors to Fiji,” he said.

“I keep reminding my officers that they have signed the best years of their lives to serve the people of Fiji and they must give their best.”

Commissioner Qiliho said they now have a better building to serve the community at the Flagstaff Plaza.

“We will continue to progress and we are very thankful to the developers for allowing us to serve the community here in Flagstaff,” the Commissioner said.

“The Government announced in the budget about the five-year pace plan, which will result in the increase of about 3700 Police officers, doubling the size of the Fiji Police Force.
