Doing an attachment at Fiji Airways has been one of the happiest events for Fiji National University graduate Vilimaina Kuta Robarobalevu.

The 22-year-old was one of 247 students who graduated from the College of Engineering, Science and Technology.

The Fiji National University graduation ceremony was held at FMF gymnasium yesterday.

“It is so nice doing my attachment there because I am getting a lot of things to learn from senior members there,” she said.

“I would like to thank Fiji Airways for taking me and trusting that I have potential.”

Ms Robarobalevu graduated in Certificate IV in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics).

She took up this course because a man who used worked with her father, recommended that she had the ability to become an aircraft engineer.

“All my family came from Labasa to celebrate my graduation and they made it extra special.”

She said she is thinking to proceed further with her studies. She also dedicated her success to God and to her mother.

She also credits her mother as her inspiration because she had supported her in all her decisions and motivated her to keep on trying to succeed.
