The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) briefed the newly appointed Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Jone Usamate last Friday.
Mr Usamate was briefed by the acting chief executive officer Captain Philip Hill in a meeting attended by managers and Head of Departments.
Minister Usamate was accompanied by assistant Minister Mr Vijay Nath and Deputy Secretary for Transport and Energy Mr Lui Naisara.
