Swimmers Learning In China

Our swimmers are learning from the best during the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships 2018 in Hangzhou, China.
The swimmers are using the champs to prepare for the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa in July and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The event ends today and team comprised Sharon Smith (Head Coach), Rosemary Rova (Coach), Epeli Rabua, Matelita Buadromo, Taichi Vakasama, Yolani Blake.
Vakasama clocked a personal best in the 200 breastroke recording 1:01.87min;
Buadromo set a new personal best in the 100 freestyle with 57.14.
The team is accompanied by Fiji Swimming president Ben Rova who attended the Congress where all national delegates from around the world, were invited to engage in discussions relating to FINAs current programmes, and projects in the pipeline.
The FINA coaches’ conference was attended by Smith.
