The respondents in the matter of Unity Fiji candidate Jone Dakuvula, who filed for an election petition against two FijiFirst
Members of Parliament, Supervisor of Elections, FijiFirst candidates and the Electoral Commission, was given time until 3pm
tomorrow to file a response.
The matter was called yesterday before Court of Disputed Returns Judge Justice Anjala Wati and Judge Justice Kamal Kumar.
Justice Kumar had informed the petitioner to be ready for the hearing.
Justice Wati and Justice Kumar jointly said the respondents were to file their response and any affidavit of evidence by 3 pm tomorrow.
The matter was adjourned to Thursday at 10 am for directions and to fix a hearing date.
