Thirty youths sacrificed their holiday yesterday to prepare for the All Nations Christian Fellowship Youth Conference.

The two-day youth camp at Vatunibale in Labasa has prepared participants from Macuata province to think like Jesus, who is the light of the world.

“If you need answers to life look into your bible,” Reverend Inoke Buadromo told youths.

“The youngest youth is in Year Nine and the oldest is a 22-year-old university student.

“The youth conference will be held in Nadi from December 28 to 31 where youths from other provinces will also attend,” Reverend Buadromo said.

“We don’t want our children to wander away, especially during this festive season and school holidays.

“That is why we are encouraging them to involve themselves in educational activities, which will help develop their life.

“The youth life is a time where they are faced with many choices and challenges.

“By strengthening their spiritual life we believe it will help them live a better life.”

One of the participants, Adi Marica Dawai, 22, a Fiji National University Labasa campus student, said through several speakers during the camp she learned that life was a gift from God and needed to be lived in a good way.
