Cunningham Pool Fatality Buried Tomorrow

A man who was found dead floating in a pool at Cunningham Stage 1, Suva, on Monday will be buried tomorrow at Pacific Harbour, outside Navua.
Savenaca Tomu Tuivaga, 40, was described as a shy person by his nephew Manoa Tuivaga at their home in Pacific Harbour yesterday.
He was the eldest of five siblings originally from Qalikarua Village in Matuku, Lau. He was never married.
He was last seen on December 2 at his home in Pacific Harbour.
Pacific voice ‘stronger than ever’ in Climate negotiations said his uncle would be greatly missed by those who knew him.
“My uncle came home and the last time I saw him he was sitting at the bus stop. He didn’t tell us if he was going somewhere,” Mr Tuivaga said.
“My uncle was someone who was quiet and never talked much.
“I will miss not seeing him when I go to his place, especially where he was always seen lying down at the same spot all the time,” Mr Tuivaga said.
“I feel empty knowing that we will not be seeing again. His passing came as a shock to us. He was under medication because of his mental health state.
“Despite that he was always happy and quiet.”
