Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) staff members paid a visit to the Colonial War Memorial Hospitals Oncology Unit to support those that were going through the toughest of times.

FRA chief executive officer Jonathan Moore they wanted to help put a smile on their faces, particularly at this time of year.

“My staff have raised about $500 from which we bought gift packs made of toiletries and other essentials,” Mr Moore said.

“We are happy to see a lot of survivors and we are praying for those who continue to fight this courageous battle,” Mr Moore said.

The visit was part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility. FRA would also be carrying out similar activities in the Western and Northern Division.

CWM Hospitals Acting Head of Oncology, Dr Kelera Sakumeni said: “We thank the FRA for presenting these timely gift packs so generously and making them feel so special.
