Fulton Hogan Hiways (FHH) Central/ Eastern Division staff, their spouses, partners and children came together to celebrate the festive season.

It was also a time to say “thank you” to the families, whose understanding and support are essential for FHH to carry out their work for the people of Fiji.

“As we near the end of a truly successful 2018 we couldn’t have chosen a better way to send it off, a Family Fun Day held at the Aquatic Centre, a wonderful celebration shared with our team, family and friends,” said FHH general manager, Patrick Keenan.

“The Fun Day’s success is what we have come to expect at FHH.

It is the way we do business.

“For six years we have built our reputation on performance not only as the safety company, but also in maintaining our road network to the highest standards.”

The Family Fun Day, a first for FHH, was held at the Damodar Aquatic Centre in Suva.

Families swam, played games, and took photos of each other on the heavy machinery, stationed in the parking lot.

Children had their faces painted, played on the bouncy water slide and made Christmas cards.

After lunch, the day was made complete when Santa Claus appeared, riding in a cherry picker.

He showered the crowd with candy and gifts.

Outgoing FHH general manager, Duncan Fraser and his wife, Mag- gie, who have been part of the FHH family for two-and-a-half years, were farewelled in a short, emotional ceremony at the start of the day.
