The Seaqaqa street party organising committee has joined hands with stakeholders to have their annual New Year street party on December 31.

Organising committee chairperson Lakhan Kumar said the street party would be held at Seaqaqa Shopping Centre compound starting at 7pm.

“This is the eighth year of celebration,” Mr Kumar said.

“We would like to thank our major sponsors Seaqaqa Shopping Centre Limited, Flour Mills of Fiji Limited, Vodafone Fiji Limited and Nazia Hire Services.”

“The annual event is celebrated in a true multicultural spirit thus promoting unity, peace and harmony, deepening friendship among the multi-ethnic community,” Mr Kumar said.

“It provides an opportunity to bring people from all walks of life together to be part of and enjoy the great entertainment of welcoming the dawn of 2018.

“We are not only encouraging people of Seaqaqa to join us for this event but also welcoming all Northerners to be part of it.”

It will be a night full of entertainment, BBQ, ferries wheel ride and many more.

Organisers expect the Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho to be their chief guest.
