Key corporate leaders and senior business executives have wished the people of Fiji a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
Governor of Reserve Bank of Fiji Ariff Ali said Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Fiji Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Vice-President Nouzab Fareed wished the people of Fiji a Merry Christmas and a joyful Christmas season.
“It’s the time for giving and being merry so enjoy this festive season and have a great time with your family.”
As chief executive officer of Fijian Holdings Limited, Mr Fareed’s message to his employees is: “When you return to work you will have to do more hard work better than you did before.”
HFC Bank chief executive officer and Association of Banks in Fiji chairman Rakesh Ram said: “I want to wish the people of Fiji a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
“The economy is very strong and growing and there a lot of potentials for banks to help customers going forward
“We looking forward to an exciting New Year because there is better things to come.”
Graham Clark, chief executive officer, Fiji Sugar Corporation said: “I would like to first of all thank the sugar industry stakeholders, beginning with Government, the farmers, lorry drivers, mill workers and staff for the efforts they had put in during 2018.
“This has been a difficult year for all in the sugar industry. I want to wish all, on behalf of the Fiji Sugar Corporation, a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
“Let’s all take a good break and get ourselves ready for the new season.”
Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA) chief executive officer Fantasha Lockington said: “We wish our FHTA members, with their staff and families a safe and blessed Christmas.
“We know the many lives they touch over this holiday season with their welcoming and generous Bula Spirit will continue to boost Fiji’s tourism industry and spread its economic benefits throughout the country as only tourism can.”
