A woman who travelled on her quad bike along Meigunyah Road in Nadi and fell about 10-15 metres off a bridge was said to have been assisted by Police and firefighters yesterday.

An eye witness said people were running to the scene when the incident occurred.

She is now at the Nadi Hospital.

The witness claimed the woman was still unconscious when they lifted her from the river.
