Police Question Two Suspects In Alleged Murder Case

Two suspects in the alleged murder case at Muanikau Road in Nasese are in Police custody.
This was confirmed by Police Chief Intelligence and Investigations Assistant Commissioner of Police Vakacegu Toduadua yesterday.
“Currently two suspects have been in Police custody as investigations continue,” he said.
The body of 22-year-old Rayna Prasad was found on December 24, 2018, in Muanikau, Nasese, by a farmer who was going to his plantation at Muanikau Road.
She was reported missing by her family on December 22, 2018 and her father had identified her body on the afternoon of December 24, 2018.
Rayna was a University of the South Pacific student doing her Bachelor’s degree in teaching.
She had her primary school education at Swami Shraddhanand Memorial School and her secondary education at DAV College.
