The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) is encouraging Fijians who have had any dealings in regard to the Lagilagi Housing Project to come forward and report the matter.

Those who have current dealings or have had previous dealings regarding the project shall visit the FCCC office and furnish the information along with supporting documents.

This includes, but is not limited to, people who have made payments and were promised a housing unit.

FCCC chief executive officer Joel Abraham says anyone with any information on the project is encouraged to assist FCCC’s inquiry.

The FCCC has started an inquiry into the Lagilagi Housing Project and says it needs assistance from people who made payments in advance and were facing issues securing a unit or seeking a refund.

A number of formal complaints have already been recorded and the FCCC encourages Fijians to co-operate and bring along a few documents when lodging their concerns regarding the project.

These include a photo ID, original copies of receipts and offer letter for the housing unit and any other relevant document.
