Silverwaters Backs Tabadamu 7s

The Tabadamu 7s organising committee received a timely boost of $3000 from Silverwaters Glass Fiber Boats and Products before their tournament gets underway at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori tomorrow.
Speaking during the official cheque handover ceremony at Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva yesterday, Silverwaters Fiberglass Boats and Products business administration manager Ratu Joni Kabulevu said they are grateful to the organisers for giving them the opportunity to sponsor the tournament.
“We’re honoured to sponsor their first ever tournament,” he said.
“We’re driven towards assisting youths of today in developing their sports platform as this is one way of giving back to the community.
“And we are committed towards creating a better pathway for better sporting avenues for youths that display their talents.”
Tournament co-ordinator,
Malakai Yamaivava said, they were thankful for the sponsorship.
“The sponsorship we’ll be used in hosting the event and we encourage the public to come out in numbers to support the tournament this weekend.
“Unfortunately Fiji Airways Fijian 7s reps will not be available to play for their clubs in the tournament.
“But we’re hoping that it won’t discourage upcoming players to showcase their talents on game day.”
