Fiji Hoteliers Workers Association partnered with Bayly Welfare Trust, making it possible to provide school supplies for 40 students.

Bayly Welfare Trust northern manager, Satishwar Chand said the association started supporting the organisation last year and they are very grateful for it.

“For years we have been looking for donors and hosting fundraisings to provide welfare recipients’ children with educational needs.

“Last year we helped out 37 children and this year we are looking at 40, yesterday we served ten children.

“These children are the unfortunates, orphans and disadvantaged that have no form of financial support.”

“We would like to thank all the hotel workers, the board of trustees and hoteliers for their contributions,” he said.

“They were at their Fiji Hoteliers Volleyball annual meet at Ratu Navula College, Nadi last year when they handed in their contributions stating their aim was giving back as charity.”
