6 Found After Engine Problems In Lomaiviti Waters
Six people who were reported adrift in the Lomaiviti Waters yesterday afternoon were found last night at around 9 pm.
Operations Officer of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Naval Division, Timoci Natuva Junior confirmed said that they received a call from Police at around 8 pm last night.
In a coordinated effort overnight with Fiji Police, the vessel adrift with 06 persons has been found and all are in good health

“They went adrift at around 3 pm in the Lomaiviti Waters. Their engine experienced trouble.
“A police team from Levuka was deployed in the evening while the Fiji Maritime Surveillance Rescue Coordination Centre monitored the case.”
Mr Natuva said that the six are safe and returned home safely.
“All are in good health,’ he said.
