She was among hundreds of students who attended the Fiji National University’s (FNU) College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism (CBHTS) Orientation programme at the Valelevu Lecture theatre in Nasinu Campus.
“I have always thought to come and attend FNU,” she said.

“I am taking this course to become a Customer’s Officer. It has always been my dream,” she said.
She said that the orientation programme was very informative.
“Now I have a fair idea about the campus and I do not think I will have problem on my first day,” said Ms Vakatawa.
“I came to the orientation programme to know more about the University and the programme I will be taking up.”
Ms Vakatawa lives in Wailoku, Tamavua, and will be financially sponsored by her parents.
“I hope I enjoy my tertiary life and make new friends,” she said.
