20-Year-Old Pair Granted Bail For Alleged Theft

Two 20-year-old men each charged with one count each of aggravated robbery and theft were granted bail by the Suva High Court yesterday.

Peniasi Ciri and Neomi Delana appeared before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.

It is alleged that Ciri and Delana, between December 27 to 28, 2018 at Nasinu, broke into Nayans Supermarket and dishonestly appropriated assorted liquor valued at $1646.90, assorted cigarettes valued at $1676.90 and $136 cash.

Both the accused were granted bail on the surety of their mothers.

Ciri and Delana were granted bail on the bond sum of $300.

They were told not to reoffend and not to interfere with any prosecution witnesses with strict bail conditions.
