Confident Alisha Looks Forward To Lead Students

Alisha Fatima Ali is looking forward with confidence to lead the students of Suva Muslim College. The 18-year-old was inducted the head girl of Suva Muslim College during the prefects induction at the school at Mead Road in Nabua yesterday.
Alisha resides in Nadera with her family and has two older siblings.
“I feel proud and happy of becoming the head girl. I have achieved what I wanted to be and my wish has come true also,” she said.
“I am extremely satisfied that all my hard work has eventually paid off. They always say that small chairs, but big dreams, so I was one of them.”
She dedicates her success to her father, Sudhir Ali and mother, Shareen Ali who were her source of inspiration.
“My parents have supported me throughout my life and worked with me to achieve my dreams.
“The struggle I face is balancing academic work with my additional activities. Being a leader requires a lot of effort and commitment so I just keep the focus.”
Alisha was a leader from Year Nine and she is proud of her achievements. For the future she is pursuing a profession in the medical field and she is optimistic of securing a scholarship.
Her message to youths is not to be shy.
“I used to be shy, but that led to a decline in self confidence. Always be self motivated, keep your faith strong and be positive.”
