A Suva man yesterday was remanded by the High Court in Suva after he pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated robbery.
Timoci Tikina appeared before Justice Daniel Goundar.
It is alleged that on October 8, 2018, in Nasinu, Tikina armed with a cane knife robbed the complainant of $3180 and a mobile phone.
State lawyer Sujata Lodhia told the court that the complainant was inside a shop when the accused entered and threatened him before committing the offence.
She asked to be given seven days to file the summary of facts of the offence.
The matter was adjourned to February 14 for facts, mitigation and sentencing. Edited by Epineri Vula
