Oh, No! Not Again

Two moments of ill disciplined frustration doused the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team chances of winning their first Sydney 7s title yesterday.
In the Cup semifinal against New Zealand, a red card to Sevuloni Mocenacagi for a dangerous tackle and yellow to Meli Derenalagi for a late hit turned sour for the team and Fijian fans who dominated attendance at the Spotless Stadium.
After the 36-14 NZ win against a depleted Fiji, the Fijians never recovered. They lost to England 19-17 in the 3rd place playoff and fell to third in the World Sevens Series standings.
