Buy Your Boxing Tickets Early

Boxing fans have been urged to buy their tickets early to have the best seats and avoid any disappointment on Saturday.
The warning came from South Pa¬cific Boxing Promotions promoter Freddy Chand after the tickets went on sale yesterday.
“For those in Suva you can buy your tickets by calling this mobile number 9200701 while those in the West you can buy it from any La¬le’s Fried Chicken outlet in Nadi, Namaka or Lautoka,” Chand told SUNsports.
“We’ve limited seats for ringside and 1000 tickets for the centre stage. “And if you’re late then you’ve no option but to buy the side seats. So please buy your tickets and don’t wait for the day of the fight.”
He also indicated that tickets were selling fast on the first day and is very confident of a good turnout.
The tickets are selling at: Children Under-10 (Pavilion) $10, Adults (Pa¬vilion Side Stage) $15, Adults (Cen¬tre stage) $25, Adults (Ringside) $40.
Making the weight
Chand also confirmed that the boxers fighting for the titles have made the required weight limit.
“Savenaca Naliva has made it on Monday afternoon while Joseph Kwadjo is within the limit. In the welterweight fight Rakuro Dauni¬vavana has weighed in at 66.2 kilo¬gramme along with Ronald Naidu.”
He said they have been monitor¬ing all the boxers fighting in the programme and they’re all raring to step into the ring.
Also making a comeback is Fiji heavyweight champion Petero Qica who is fighting in a 4×3 mins round fight.
Official weigh-in is tomorrow from 2.30pm at the Nadi Civic Centre.
