Go Green This Valentine’s Day With Tadra Makawa

This Valentine’s Day, for the first time, Tadra Makawa is providing an alternative more eco-friendly option for their customers.
Owner of Tadra Makawa Ren Slatter said that they were all about sustaining the environment, therefore, this Valentine’s Day the company was making flowers, particularly the Red Valentine’s Day Rose, out of voivoi (pandanus) and vau(dried bark of wild hibiscus).
“Not only are they plastic free, environmentally safe, and absolutely gorgeous, but that they also last for years,” she said.

Ms Slatter said the response from customers had been incredible.
“Given that this is the first time we have done something for Valentine’s Day, we are so glad at how many people are choosing to go plastic free this year,” she said.
“Just as people chose to go plastic free last year with our Tadra Makawa driftwood Christmas Trees, it is clear that people are waking up and are starting to make changes for the betterment of our mother earth. This is a beautiful thing.”
