Suva Coach Wary of Nasinu

After losing 1-0 to Ba last weekend, the Suva Football will develop a new approach as they face Nasinu in the fourth round of Vodafone Premier League at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Sunday.
Whites head coach Intiaz Khan said they would not underestimate Nasinu as they have put a good performance by upsetting Labasa 2-0 last Sunday.
“After our loss to Ba we have identified our mistakes and we will get up and improve from there by making sure we lift our performance this week,” Khan said.
“We are aware of the expectations and pressure from the fans. Suva FC is high and we’re planning to have a different approach this time. We’ll be out to prove ourselves.
“However, preparations are on track and the boys have returned to our usual training sessions after a day’s break.
“We’re aware of the pressure bestowed upon the players to perform. The critics from the public can also be a positive move for the side to rectify their mistakes and deliver.
“To be honest despite Nasinu being the underdogs and beating Labasa last weekend we feel that they are a threat for us. We treat all teams the same and will go out there for a win.
“So far we have recorded only one win that was against Lautoka in our opening match while we recorded to back-to-back losses to against Ba and Tavua.
“We would like to urge all our fans to come out in numbers and support the team as their presence will definitely boost the morale of the players on match day.”
