Wyndham Appoints Wesley Biutanaseva And Owen Ealden

Wyndham Resort Denarau Island has confirmed appointments of Wesley Biutanaseva to the position of Assistant Resort Manager and Owen Ealden to the position of Director of Food and Beverage.
“I am pleased to announce the appointment of these two key members of our leadership team. Both have a strong track record of high performance and bring a broad range of skills and extensive experience to the resort,” said Brad Downton, General Manager Wyndham Resort Denarau Island.
About Mr Biutanaseva
Mr Biutanaseva was raised in Suva before moving to Hawaii to study hospitality management.
He joins Wyndham Denarau Island Resort after working in leadership roles at the Hyatt Place Boise/Downtown Idaho, Mesquite Holiday Inn Express Nevada and Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, Provo, Utah in the USA.
“I am delighted to join Wyndham Denarau Island and especially this great team,” said Mr Biutanaseva.
“I am excited to bring my experience and am looking forward to working with staff to make holiday dreams come true for our valued guests by helping to foster a strong service orientated culture.”
About Mr Ealden
Mr Ealden has served in leadership roles at Komandoo Island Resort and Spa in the Maldives and Kudadoo Private Island by Hurwalhi in the Maldives where he served as Food and Beverage Director.
Prior to that, he worked in numerous resorts and hotels across Asia Pacific and Europe as Executive Chef.
The multi-award-winning Wyndham Resort Denarau Island is one of the largest and most popular resorts in the WorldMark South Pacific Club collection, the region’s largest timeshare club with close to 60,000 members.
It features a host of facilities including a Mamacita Restaurant & Bar.
