I’ll be ready for Salote:Vakaloloma

Adi Cakobau School senior girl’s sprinter Jessie Vakaloloma is up for the challenge against former teammate Salote Baravilala who is likely to represent Jasper Williams High School at the 2019 Coca-Cola Games in April.
The Natokalau, Matuku, Lau native won gold for her Lagakali House in the senior girls 100m final with a time of 13.19 secs and also made a strong finish in the 4x100m relay.
“I’m happy with my performance and I’m looking forward to a strong finish at the Coca-Cola Games,” Vakaloloma said.
She has never won a gold medal in 100m at the Coca-Cola Games since sub junior grade. But she is upbeat of creating history this year as she is likely to face Baravilala.
“I will be ready for Salote, my focus now is to prepare for Triple N Zone and better my time at the Coke Games.”
Vakaloloma is the daughter of former national pole vault champion Iowana Sera Vakaloloma who set a national record of 2.90m in the 2003 Pacific Games.
