Eroni Puamau Is Tourism Leader Of The Year

General Manager of Rosie Holidays, Eroni Puamau was named the 2018 Tourism leader of the Year during the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa in Denarau on Saturday.
About Eroni Puamau
Mr Puamau has been a major force in the development of the Whitton family business as the country’s major inbound tour and vistor operator.
He has travelled the world constantly working closely with managing director Tony Whitton.
He says: “We are a family owned tradition of excellence with staff who are passionate and inspired everyday to give their best serving our customers.”
Comments on the award
Mr Puamau said: “This award is really special for me as I was inspired by a collective dream of the Fiji tourism industry pioneers many years ago, the dream of impacting the lives of our people.
“Today we should be proud of what we have become as an industry, because it is an industry with the force for good.
“We are changing the lives of our people, every single tourist that you welcome whether you’re a transport operator or a hotelier, you are creating a job in the industry.”
Mr Puamau thanked everyone that contributed to his journey in the industry.
“I want to thank the committee for recognising me with this award and I accept it humbly on behalf of all of us and all the mentors that has helped me along the way.
“I look forward to working with all of you in making our destination stand out in the years to come.”
