Fiji Airways Fiji 7s Player Mesulame Kunavula Wanted

If dialogue is successful the Fijian 7s forward will team up with Fiji Airways Flying Fijians centre Semi Radradra, prop Peni Ravai, former Crusaders/All Blacks winger Setareki Tamanivalu, former Queensland Reds winger Eto Nabuli, 22-year old flanker Kitione Kamikamica and Tevita Ratuva.

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s forward Mesulame Kunavula is wanted by France Top 14 club Bordeaux Begles.

The club is desperately seeking the services of Nadroumai, Nadroga, native to fill in the No. 8 position.

In a text from the club agent to SUNsports yesterday, it stated; “Bordeaux wants #8 reckons can get Kunavula, thanks.”

The agent spoke to Kunavula yesterday who referred them to consult first with the Fiji Rugby Union

Kunavula made his debut at the 2017/2018 Wellington 7s series at the age of 20. The special constable is known for his rugged attacking and offloading skills.

He competes competitively to win kickoffs and always on target defensively.

The Nadroga native is training ahead of the third leg of the Sevens World Series in Las Vegas on March 1-3 and Vancouver 7s on March 7-8.
