A woman charged with one count of unlawful gaming has been granted bail by Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.

Lice Naululoa was one of the 49 people who were arrested during the raid.

Representing the accused is lawyer Aman Ravindra-Singh.

Mr Ravindra-Singh informed the court that they needed some time for plea and asked for the accused to be released on bail.

Police Prosecutor Walter Taito said they had no objection to the bail as long as there were strict bail conditions.

Magistrate Bodaragama granted bail and told the accused not to reoffend while on bail and to follow all the conditions.

The case has been adjourned to April 4.

It is alleged that six Fijians and 43 Asian nationals were among those arrested.

More than $50,000 was seized during the raid along with electronic goods and items allegedly used for gambling.
