Training conducted by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office has helped enhance the capabilities of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Naval Division.
An in-house training on the use of multibeam sonar ended on Friday with the completion of a resurvey of the Suva Harbour approach.
The training, which was provided by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, allowed members of the RFMF Naval Division’s Hydrographic department the opportunity to better acquaint themselves in surveys using multibeam sonar.
