Fiji Rugby 7s: Ready For Vegas

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s wing Alasio Naduva joined the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team in Las Vegas yesterday.
This was confirmed by Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor.
“I can confirm that Naduva flew out of the country on Saturday morning and has joined the team in Las Vegas today,” O’Connor said.
Naduva will be one player that other teams mainly New Zealand, Australia and host USA will be watchful for following his remarkable performance in the second leg of the Sevens World Series in Wellington and Sydney. He is the tournament’s top tryscorer.
Fiji play Scotland in their first game at 11:22am on Saturday, Wales at 2:25pm and Australia at 7:52am on Sunday.
Tuivoka flies out tomorrow
Fiji Corrections Service wing Asaeli Tuivoka has been given his visa and will fly out tomorrow.
“Asaeli is scheduled to fly out on Tuesday evening and will join the team on Wednesday,” he said.
Coach Gareth Baber said Tuivoka has been included because the character he has shown in training.
“I have seen how he played, particularly coming to training, how he behave in training and his work ethic,”Baber said.
“He is willing to be coached and provides a point of difference.
“He is quick, aggressive, and he is a pain for anybody else in the contact area.”
Cakaubalavu weds Ala
Fiji Airways Fijian 7s prop Apenisa Cakaubalavu married the love of his life Ala in Waiqanake Village on Saturday.
