Joseph Mishra Hits 2 In Nasinu Win

Joseph Mishra, 32, was the toast of the Nasinu side as they beat Tavua 3-1 in the Vodafone Premier League match at Garvey Park, Tavua yesterday.
This was Nasinu second win this season.
What happened: Striker Mishra scored the opening goal in the 30th minute after good pass from Savenaca Baledrokadroka.
In the 43rd minute he extended the lead 2-0 after a defensive blunder by Tavua goalkeeper Varinava Telawa.
Nasinu had the services of Manasa Levaci, Nasoni Mereke, Filipe Tuidave, Joeli Ranitu and evergreen Usaia Tadu in defence.
Halftime: Nasinu 2-0 Tavua.
Tavua regrouped in the second spell which saw Vilive Naulalevu came off the bench to score in the 78th minute.
The host had Temesi Tuwai, Marika Rawasoi, Kasim Khan, Maikeli Sivo, and Hussain Khan.
Debutant Tevita Rabakewa came off the bench for Nasinu to seal the match in injury time.
Big Play: Joseph Mishra was spot on and played a mature game.
Star turn: Usaia Tadu was rock solid on defence.
Comments: Nasinu coach Nathan Shivam said, “The players played to expectations of officials and fans. They executed the game plan well and those two goals mattered. The third goal was the icing on the cake.”
Tavua manager Ranjeel Ram, “We have been changing our players in every game. Our senior players were not available and we expect them to return for the Labasa game this weekend. We thank the fans for coming in big numbers.”
