Lautoka defeated Rewa 4-1 in the Vodafone Premier League match at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.

What happened:

Lautoka’s Benjamin Totori drew first blood in the 16th minute.

In the second half, Lautoka’s Samuela Drudru extended the lead in the 53rd minute and Kolinio Si­voki scored the third goal in the 63rd minute.

Rewa’s Amani Makoe scored for the Delta Tigers in the 75th min­ute.

Lautoka’s Afraaz Ali sealed the win in the 89th minute.

Comments:

Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy;

“We played well but we need to work on a lot of areas. We need to keep the ball which is very impor­tant.

“We have an important game against Nasinu as they have been playing good football. We need to work on our positional play and decision making.”

He said the team has been win­ning the league for the past two years and all the teams want to beat Lautoka which was challeng­ing.
