Defending boys Coca-Cola Games champion Ratu Kadavulevu School athletes have moved into camp.

This is in preparation of the Tailevu Zone on March 28 at the ANZ Stadium and the 2019 Coca-Cola Games on April 16-18.

Assistant principal Walesi Soqoiwasa confirmed they have selected 132 athletes after the inter-house meet and are now in serious business.

“We selected 132 athletes after the inter-house meet and this week, they have all moved into one dormitory.

“We now have two weeks to prepare for the Tailevu Zone and another two weeks to prepare to defend our title at the Fiji Finals,” Soqoiwasa said.

“We are into the first phase of preparation and will complete our final competition phase after the zonal meet.

“We have new athletes in the sub junior and junior grades and some of our old students have joined us again this year.

“Most of our athletes in the intermediate grade that were part of the winning team last year have joined other schools.

“But we have a balance squad competing in the field and track events.”
