Tavaita Salavou bought a television and washing machine worth $599 and $999 respectively from MH Homemaker at the height of a promotion.

She made a few repayments but received good news yesterday when she was announced as one of winners of the Carpenters Finance ‘Win Your Purchase Back Promotion’.

The woman from Nakorolevu Village in Tailevu was one of the lucky promotion winners announced at Ellery Street Corporate Office in Suva.

“I am happy and thankful that this promotion has come through for people like me,” said the Suva stall market vendor.

The promotion was from November 19, 2018 to January 31, 2019.

Meanwhile, Enele Malele was one of the winners of the ‘Moneygram Win and Double up Promotion’, which was also announced yesterday.

He won $204 after making a Moneygram transaction.

The promotion was from December 1, 2018 to January 14, 2019.

The director of WR Carpenters South Pacific Limited and general manager of MH MoneyExpress Pte Ltd, Alok Mishra, said that the winners would be given full credit for their purchase.

Mr Mishra said that they launched this Moneygram promotion to give back something to our loyal customers and they have received tremendous response from the market.
