Tavua Hospital Gets $100K Boost From FIJI Water And Cure Kids

The FIJI Water Foundation, in partnership with Cure Kids Fiji, donated $100,000 of medical equipment to Tavua Hospital.
This past week FIJI Water Foundation staffs, alongside senior executives from Cure Kids, were on-hand to deliver the critical emergency equipment.
Included in the donation were five life-saving portable resuscitators, a new public address (PA) system and the installation of additional phone lines to help improve internal and external communications.
The donation of the equipment completed the grant after renovations were also carried out to the Tavua Hospitals’ outpatient clinical areas in 2017.
“We appreciate the hard work by the medical staff at Tavua Hospital and are grateful that through this partnership with Cure Kids, we are able to provide these much-needed resources,” says Elizabeth Stephenson, FIJI Water Global president.
Jen Miller of Cure Kids Fiji says the new equipment will help improve the quality of life for children around the Tavua area living with serious health conditions.
