The case of a 21-year-old man of Navua charged with one count of murder has been transferred to the High Court in Suva.

Fabiano Dakai appeared before Magistrate Thushara Thennakoon at the Navua Magistrate Court.

Magistrate Thennakoon said the case was to be transferred to the High Court in Suva because it was an indictable offence.

It is alleged that on February 4, 2019 the accused murdered a 34-year-old security guard Timoci Dogai of Waidradra.

The case has been adjourned to March 14.
