Kulukulu Public School head boy, Kavitesh Karan says he wants students of the school to cooperate with all school prefects.

Kavitesh highlighted this when elected as the school’s head boy during the prefects badge induction ceremony at Kulukulu, Sigatoka yesterday.

Shriya Shruti Lal was named as head girl.

A total of 32 school prefects and class prefects were in­ducted at the ceremony.

As head boy, Kavitesh said, he would balance his respon­sibilities towards his education and leadership duties.

“I am looking forward to the challenges ahead of me,” he said.

“I want the students to work hard in school and also cooperate with the prefects.”

The Sigatoka lad aspires to be a successful lawyer once he finishes his tertiary education.

Head girl, Shriya said, she was planning to work with the head boy in maintaining the discipline of the students.

“With my new role as head girl I will work with the head boy to see to the discipline of students in the school,” she said.
