What happened; Playing with 10-men in the last quarter, Lautoka held on to score a 4-1 win over Nasinu in the Vodafone Pre­mier League clash at the ANZ Stadium, Suva yesterday.

The men in blue got off to a strong start after Kolinio Sivoki beat the Nasinu de­fenders to score the first goal in the first half as they led 1-0 at halftime.

The sugar city boys continued their dominance in the second half with senior reps Samuela Drudru, Benjamin Totori and Jone Vesikula leading the charge and scoring their second goal through Sairusi Nalaubu.

Nasinu won a penalty after Vesikula was red carded for a foul play. Totori and Dr­udru sealed the win for Lautoka.

Big Play; Lautoka proved themselves too strong for minnows Nasinu.

Comments; Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy said; “We played well in the second half unfortunately we got a red card.”

Nasinu coach Nathan Shivam said: “We will have to work on our mentality for the next round.”
